The City of Inver Grove Heights is studying roadway improvements for the 65th Street Improvement Project between Robert Trl (Hwy 3) and Babcock Trl.
A feasibility report was prepared and available to review. The purpose of this study was to further evaluate the feasibility of the infrastructure needs of the Northwest Expansion Area from a transportation perspective. A Community Collector street system was evaluated that promotes east-west connectivity between existing Robert Trail South and Babcock Trail along the future 65th Street alignment.
Tentative Study Timeline:
Order Feasibility Report: September 2017
Public Comment Period for Feasibility Report: December 2020
Draft Feasibility Report to City Council: Feb/March 2021
Present Feasibility Report to Planning Commission: March/April 2021
Accept Feasibility Report/Set Public Hearing: March/April 2021
