Inver Grove Heights will be part of a regional overnight curfew ordered by Gov. Tim Walz. The curfew includes all cities in Dakota County and will be in effect from 7 p.m. tonight (April 12) to 6 a.m. Tuesday (April 13).
Tonight's IGH City Council Meeting will be held remote only. If you wish to participate in the meeting, please call 651-450-2471 to be placed in the queue to discuss with City Council. Public Hearings will be rescheduled.
The Veterans Memorial Community Center will close tonight at 6 p.m. VMCC plans to reopen at 7 a.m. tomorrow, instead of the usual 5 a.m.
*Essential workers and other authorized personnel are exempt from the curfew. Individuals seeking emergency care, fleeing dangerous circumstances, experiencing homelessness and having to travel to and from employment are also exempt from the curfew.
