City Council Meeting Schedule

The Inver Grove Heights City Council holds regular meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 6 p.m., unless otherwise noted. A work session is held on the first Monday of the month at 6 p.m.

Resident Participation in City Council Meetings

Meetings are open to all. If you are interested in participating in a meeting, you can find information at the top of each meeting agenda found on the Agenda Center page. 

City Council meetings are broadcast on the following cable channels:

LIVE: Second and fourth Mondays of the month at 6 p.m. – Channel 14/799 HD

Replays: Friday following the meeting at noon & 6 p.m. – Channel 18/798 HD

Regular Council Meetings are also streamed live on the Town Square Television website.

  • Work Sessions (first meeting of the month normally) are held at the Veterans Memorial Community Center Room 3, 8055 Barbara Avenue, Inver Grove Heights, MN and are not televised or streamed
  • City Council meetings are held in Council Chambers, 8150 Barbara Avenue, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077 are televised as directed currently on this page.

Agendas, Packets & Minutes

Agendas are typically posted on the website on the Thursday before the Monday meeting. Minutes of the meetings are recorded and are available following council approval. 

Members of the public who wish to speak to an agenda item may do so, upon the recognition of the mayor. There is a public comment period for items not on the agenda at the beginning of most meetings, or you may send an online question or comment.
