Annual Clean-Up Day | Saturday, Sept. 25 | 8 a.m.-Noon

Residents of the City of Inver Grove Heights, West St. Paul and Sunfish Lake are invited to the IGH Annual Clean-Up Day to dispose of unwanted items in one stop.

The event will be held on Saturday, September 25 from 8 a.m. to noon at the IGH Public Works Parking Lot (8168 Barbara Avenue).

Clean-Up Day Mattress Recycling

Public Safety in the Park | Thursday, Sept. 30 | 4-7 p.m.

Join us for a fun evening in the park hosted by the IGH Police and IGH Fire Departments. 

Stop by to see fire trucks, grab a grilled hotdog and talk with police officers and firefighters about useful home safety tips. 

Location: Skyview Park, 6765 Dawn Avenue in IGH

Walktober Challenge

Walk 2 miles per day for 31 days. Log your mileage from October 1-31 and complete 62 miles to earn a WALKtober 2021 T-shirt!

Prizes are awarded throughout the month for motivational support. Log your miles outside, on the walking track or treadmill at VMCC (will need to be a member or pay daily admission rate or punch pass to utilize the walking track or treadmill).

Let's Paw-ty! Halloween Dog Park Event | Saturday, Oct. 9: 3-5 p.m. | Heritage Village Park | FREE!

Pet vendors, costume contests, a kissing booth, food truck & more!

🐾 You and your furry friend are invited to a first-ever Halloween Dog Park Paw-ty at Heritage Village Park (4321 65th St) on Saturday, Oct. 9. And bark the news to your friends, family and neighbors...everyone is welcome!

Dress in costume to win prizes, paw-ruse pet-themed vendors, wag tails to a bark-tastic DJ, enjoy a tasty food truck and so much more!

Off-leash Dog Areas - Pass Required

  • You will be able to purchase dog park passes on-site - just make sure to have a valid copy of your dog's rabies vaccination on-hand.

Ghostly Gathering | Friday, Oct. 22 | 6-8 p.m. | Ages 2-12

Calling all ghosts and goblins! Join us for a family-friendly, barely scary event that includes trick-or-treating from local businesses, games, DJ, and a photo booth. Don't forget to come dressed in your fab-BOO-lous costume!

Location: Veterans Memorial Community Center

Fee: $8/child (limit two adults per one registered child)

Registration is required by Monday, Oct. 18.

Call the IGH Weather Hot Line at 651-450-2595 to check the status for city-led program and events due to inclement weather. We strive to update by 4:30 p.m. After hours, it is up to the coaches and instructors to make the final decision.
