Community Food Drive | Nov. 1-30 

Donation barrel located at VMCC, 8055 Barbara Ave, Door A

The City of IGH Wellness Committee is hosting a Community Food Drive! Help local families fill their dinner table this month by donating non-perishable food items. All donations will be collected by Neighbors, Inc. and will be given directly to local families in need each week. The donation barrel is located inside VMCC, Door A through Nov. 30. Stop by anytime the building is open. Thank you for your generosity this season and throughout the year! 

Wish List Items | Non-Perishable Food Items such as:

  • Canned or Dried Beans or Lentils
  • Canned or Dried Fruit
  • Canned or Instant Potatoes
  • Canned Meat
  • Canned Soup 
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Cereal
  • Cooking Oil
  • Flour or Masa Flour
  • Fruit Juice
  • Nutritional Shakes (Ex: Ensure)
  • Pancake Mix and Syrup
  • Pasta and Pasta Sauce
  • Peanut Butter and Jelly 
  • Protein Bars
  • Rice
  • Thanksgiving Dinner Food (stuffing mix, cornbread mix, gravy mix, foil roasting pans, cans of pie filling, canned cranberries, etc.)

Wish List Items | Non-Food Items such as:

  • Diapers (size 4 & 5)
  • Feminine Products
  • Laundry Soap
  • Toilet Paper
  • Toothpaste & Toothbrushes
  • Shampoo & Conditioner
  • Soap
