Egg Hunt Coloring Contest
Join us for some colorful fun with our egg hunt coloring contest!
How to participate
- Get your coloring sheet:
- Color in your masterpiece
- Turn it in to the Veterans Memorial Community Center or Heartland Credit Union by Saturday March 28
First and second place prizes will be awarded in each of the following categories:
- Ages 3-pre-K
- Kindergarten-grade 1
- Grades 2-3
- Grades 4-5
The egg hunt coloring contest is free to participate in and all are welcome.

Touch-A-Truck
Come see a wide variety of trucks and vehicles up close!
- Saturday, May 16, 9-11:30 a.m.
- Sensory friendly (no horns or sirens): 9-9:30 a.m.
- VMCC parking lot - 8055 Barbara Ave
This event is free and open to all ages, no registration is required. Dress for the weather. Bring money for treats from the ice cream truck!

Inver Groove Music in the Park
Join us for free family-friendly concerts in the park!
- Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.
- South Valley Park, 2810 70th St. E
- 45-minute musical and educational performances
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a free concert geared just for kiddos. Leashed dogs are welcome; please pick up after your pup. The restrooms shelter at the park will be open and there are changing tables inside. South Valley Park also features a new outdoor playground and paved walking trails; we encourage you to take advantage of them before and after the performance! Concerts are held outdoors so please dress for the weather.
Getting to the Park
Free parking is available at South Valley Park. Overflow parking is available across the street at North Valley Park 2800 70th St. E. Drive past the pickleball courts and park near the ball fields & disc golf course. Follow the paved sidewalk to the tunnel that goes under 70th St. and connects to South Valley Park; it's about a 5 minute walk.
