2025 IGH Pavement Management Initiative - Barbara Avenue & 46th Street Area
Construction Update:
Utility crews will be working Monday (7/21) through Wednesday (7/23) along Bacon Avenue (between 47th and 46th), Bacon Court, and completing watermain installation on 46th Street from Bacon to August Way. Intersection of Bacon and 46th will be closed on Tuesday and residents should expect intermittent access impacts during this time due to deep excavation work in front of their house. On Monday, road crews will begin prepping 47th Street and Barbato Court for paving, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday. On Wednesday, roadway work will occur at the intersection of Bacon Avenue and 47th Street, which will block access to Bacon Avenue from the south during the day. To finish out the week, crews will be working along Barbara Avenue between 47th Street and the midpoint of the road on Thursday and Friday.
