2025 IGH Pavement Management Initiative - Barbara Avenue & 46th Street Area
Construction Update
This Week: (0811-08/16)
Roadway crews completed sub-cutting in areas where utility work is finished. The sanitary sewer crew began at the Bacon Avenue and 46th Street intersection and worked north toward Upper 45th Street. A second utility crew started hooking up homes to temporary water along Upper 45th Street and North Barbara in preparation for watermain installation. Residents along 47th Street and Barbato Court with concrete driveways should have received notices about driveway work scheduled for Monday.
Next Week (08/18-08/23):
Utility crews will continue sanitary sewer installation along Upper 45th Street and down Barbara Avenue, with watermain installation following behind as a second operation. Early in the week, concrete crews will re-pour driveways along 47th Street and Barbato Court. They will then transition to pouring curb in areas where both utility and roadway work have been completed.
