2025 IGH Pavement Management Initiative - Barbara Avenue & 46th Street Area 

Construction Update

This Week: (09/02-09/06)

Utility crews completed sanitary work and continued installing watermain along Upper 45th Street and the north half of Barbara Avenue. The sanitary crews shifted back to begin storm sewer installation and water/sanitary service connections. Boulevard restoration began in Phase 1 where utility and road work is complete.

Next Week (09/08-09/13):   

The sanitary crew will move to Phase 3 (August Way), while the other utility crew continues wrapping up water and sanitary services along Bacon Ave North of 46th, Upper 45th St, and the North half of Barbara Ave. Road crews will follow close behind in Phase 2 (Bacon Ave North of 46th, Upper 45th St, North half of Barbara Ave), sub-cutting the road in preparation for curb and pavement. Topsoil restoration will also continue in Phase 1.

Please note that all work is weather-dependent and subject to change.
