  1. Virtual Dog Costume Contest

    October 1, 2020 - November 2, 2020

    It is a Fa-BOO-lous time of year and we are excited to offer some frightfully fun activities! Who is ready to dress up...their pups?! If you can snap a photo and enter them into our Virtual Dog Costume Contest! We want to see your dog in his/her most paw-riffic costume! You must register your photo online...when you click the link below select 'BROWSE PROGRAMS' - and enter in the search bar Code 'FA-F113': All submissions must be turned in by Nov. 2 to be eligible for a prize. The contest is FREE to join, but please consider a $10 donation to the Humane Society. Judges will be three of your favorite IGH Parks & Rec Staff.   2. Annual Shred Event

    October 24, 2020, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ City Hall Parking Lot

    Do you have confidential material that you would like to have shredded? Instead of shredding at home, bring your materials to a community shred event or a retail location that shreds for you. This will ensure your personal information stays secure and your paper gets recycled.

  3. National Drug Take Back Day at IGH PD

    October 24, 2020, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ IGH PD

    The IGH Police Department is partnering with the DEA for their National Drug Take Back Day on Sat, Oct. 24, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come dispose of your unused medications at the Police Department. We will have a table set up outside and will be practicing proper safety measures. Please put all medications in a sealed plastic bag. We also accept pet medications! **No sharps will be accepted** Once again like last year, local businesses have donated coupons that will be handed out to everyone dropping off medication.
