2025 IGH Pavement Management Initiative - Barbara Avenue & 46th Street Area 

Construction Update

This Week: (07/21-07/25)

Utility crews completed installation of utilities along Bacon Avenue and Bacon Court and continued progress along 46th Street. Paving was completed on all of Phase 1 where curb was previously installed. 

Next Week (07/28-08/01):   

The utility crew will shift operations to 50th Street, while the road crew begins roadway subgrade work on the south half of Barbara Avenue, Bacon Avenue, and Bacon Court. Curb and asphalt removals may occur along the remaining portions of Barbara Avenue, Bacon Avenue, and Upper 45th Street (remainder of phase 2 area).

Please note that all work is weather-dependent and subject to change.
