Playing a sport is the perfect way to relieve stress. We offer programs and leagues year-round for adults. You and your friends can register as a team or try our new free agent registration! For more information on any of these adult offerings, please call 651-450-2585.

Adult Programs & Sports

Summer 2023

  • Adult Swim Instruction: Summer Session (ages 18+)
  • Pickleball Lessons: June sessions (ages 18+)
  • Open Pickleball at the VMCC Gymnasium or outdoors
  • Lifeguard Certification: June 2-4 (ages 15+)
  • Tennis: June & July sessions (ages 17+)
  • Tennis - Park v. Park Match Series: Aug 15-Sept. 19 (ages 18+) - Gain match play experience in a fun, team competition environment.  
  • Adult Sewing Class: July 27 (ages 16+)
  • Basic First Aid & CPR: Aug 12 (ages 13+)  – Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

Adult Leagues

Summer 2023

Adult Softball: April 28-July 28 - Men’s D League Slowpitch Softball. Officiated league: standings recorded with end-of-season playoffs. 20 double-headers games. REGISTRATION CLOSED
  • NSF/MSF-sanctioned league.
  • Season runs end of April/early May (weather dependent) through mid-July.
  • Games are located at Rich Valley Athletic Complex.
  • Prizes for league winner and tournament winner.
  • A mandatory manager’s meeting will be held Mid-April. When registration closes, Recreation Coordinator will contact manager with additional information.

Adult Kickball League - Cancelled

Pickleball Leagues - Our adult pickleball league is a fun, semi-competitive league for teams of two players. Game times and schedule will be determined by the final number of teams that register. Game times are estimates. Minimum eight teams, maximum 12 teams.

Time: 6–9 p.m. Fee: $40 per team
Location: North Valley Park

  • Doubles BRONZE/Beginning Level (2.0-3.0)
    Dates: Wednesdays, starting June 21
  • Doubles SILVER Level (3.0-4.0) 
    Dates: Thursdays, starting June 22

E-Sports Leagues - July 10-Sept. 1 (ages 8+)
