Inver Grove Heights State of the City Address 2024: New Heights!
On Nov. 21, 2024, the City hosted a State of the City event at Inver Wood Golf Course. The event was an opportunity for to recap recent achievements in IGH, look ahead to 2025 and introduce the City’s Bridge Builder Award to community members.

During the event, the City recognized and remembered the two recipients of the first-ever IGH Bridge Builder Award: Rob Reitberger and the late Jill Lewis. Both were celebrated for their extraordinary contributions to the IGH community. Ms. Lewis's daughter, Amy Nugent, accepted the award on Ms. Lewis's behalf.

Inver Grove Heights State of the City Address 2023: People, Plans and Progress
The City hosted its first live State of the City event for community members on Thursday, Nov. 30. If you were unable to attend, you are invited to watch a video recording (below) of the event presentation produced by Town Square Television.
During the event, the work of the City’s seven departments, including Public Works, the Police and Fire Departments, Community Development, Parks and Recreation, and Finance, was highlighted by the Mayor and City Council. This video is a time-efficient way to learn about the people, plans and progress that moved the City forward in 2023,
