Kids R.O.C.K. (Recreational Opportunities Catered to Kids)Program OverviewDays: Monday-Friday, June 9-Aug. 21, 2026 (closed June 8 & July 3)Times: 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Ages: 5-12 Location:Veterans Memorial Community Center Each week includes planned activities that promise to engage and fascinate kids through a variety of hands-on activities, games, crafts, songs and much more! In addition to our great in-room activities, children will play outside at the playground, swim in the water park, and play large group games like kickball and soccer on the turf or outside. All participants receive a T-shirt and daily snacks. Participants must bring their own bag lunch daily for camp. Field trips are scheduled bi-weekly on Wednesdays. Field trips are optional and require a separate registration and additional fees. To be eligible to attend a Kids R.O.C.K. field trip, your child must also be registered to attend Kids R.O.C.K. that day. Those who do not attend a field trip will engage in regularly scheduled activities at the community center. Parent Information SessionsThese optional sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about Kids R.O.C.K. and ask any questions you may have. These sessions are not required, and we are happy to answer any additional questions you may have. We encourage you to review the Camp Guide first, as it provides key details about the program. We’ll have coloring sheets and a few quiet activities available for kids who tag along, but these sessions are designed for adults to learn about the program and get help signing up.

Registration Process
Field TripsField Trip RegistrationTo participate in a Kids R.O.C.K. field trip, your child must be registered for Kids R.O.C.K. on the same day. Field trip locations will be confirmed prior to the start of camp registration. Field trips will be offered on Wednesdays, June 17, July 1, July 15, July 29, and August 12
Field Trips ScheduleTo attend a Kids R.O.C.K. field trip, your child must also be registered to attend Kids R.O.C.K. that day. Check back late January for field trip schedule. Camp FeesRegistration fee: $115 per child
Flexible SchedulingKids R.O.C.K. offers flexible scheduling to help families build a camp schedule that works best for them. Families may choose up to five days per week for any number of weeks, based on availability. Camp schedules can include as few as one, two, three or four days per week, and selected days may vary from week to week. Once your schedule is submitted, those dates are reserved for your child. Schedule changes may be requested by following the procedures outlined in the 2026 Kids R.O.C.K. Camp Guide (available February 2, 2026). Families are responsible for payment of all reserved dates, regardless of attendance, unless changes are made and approved within the outlined guidelines. Childcare CenterChildcare is available at the VMCC for infants and youth ages 6 months to 11 years for guests and members while they use the VMCC facilities.
