Yoga for Joint Mobility | Tuesdays & Thursdays | May 31-June 23 | 11:30 a.m.-12:20 p.m.
This restorative Yin style Yoga class will provide an assessment of your posture, prescription for exercises, specific to your health and well being as well as individual modifications and attention not offered in a drop in Yoga class. Yoga for Joint Mobility focuses on the deep connective tissues and joints of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. This practice will maintain joint health by increasing joint strength and range of motion. Class focuses on through extended holds of postures following the meridians of the body from traditional medicine. Great for all levels. Customers must be able kneel, sit and lay on the mat. Mats straps and blocks will be provided. You may bring your own. We also encourage customers to bring a wool or cotton blend blanket for extra support. Register 3 days in advance to avoid a $5 late fee.
